How to create a cube in perspective. It will also cover how to make a door and window recessed. Finally, it will show you how to use a horizontal line to make uneven number of windows with a special vanishing point.

alright I'm going to show you how to do the very basic basic basic of how to do two point perspective call to point because there's going to be two dots one on the left one of the right we're going to get our paper make sure our paper is horizontal we're going to measure half way on the right side and halfway on the left your paper should be about 9 inches or half of and of course is four and a half I'm using a different size papers so it's can be the same as yours but I'm Yours make it four and a half put a Big Dot on the right hand side and do the same on the other side has to be as close to the edge as possible you're going to take your ruler you're going to draw a line sad not perfectly solid but a dotted line okay that's important because that dotted line cell tells you where Verizon is at all times it's going to help you be able to make your drawings in a nice balance way so a couple of things were going to go over one of the things you need to when is the word parallel which means lines that are never going to touch never going to cross and what's important is that when you get your ruler and you're going make a parallel line you got to know that parallel lines are always going to be vertical in two point perspective so one of the key points is that the bottom of your ruler I know it's Polly hard to see but on the bottom of your ruler your paper should line up  evenly this is what I mean if you take a look wrestling  your ruler should be even at the bottom of it rancid or if it doesn't line up then you know it's never going to be straight so please make sure your ruler is even that is super important play back to the drawing itself  I need you to remember that always have your lines that are very vertical router are perfectly straight and parallel we're going to go ahead  how to make a line doesn't matter how tall the line is does not matter another word you're going to need to know is vanishing point Vanishing points are important there right here the dot on the right is known as your rights vanishing point the one on the left is your left vanishing point all diagonals are going to go they eventually vanish the objects of get smaller smaller than moves away so we're going to go ahead continue this we're going to start with this vertical line the top of it goes to the vanishing point think of it as your target has to go there not above it nobilo not close with but right on it so make sure the top of your line lined up with the. And make your line and you do the same thing at the bottom put your pencil light it up to. Draw line does not have to be the same length it will be drawn in a little bit so it doesn't matter so we're almost done with the right side of our box we're going to take our room again make sure that it's even on the bottom it's Square making sure that it's even and square at the bottom guarantee that you're going a parallel line here these two lines are parallel if they don't something wrong you got to erase it and fix it not fixing it when you due to problems later now we go on to the other side again please are pencil here in this corner draw line going to vanishing point same thing at the bottom this goes to the left vanishing point remember it doesn't just go to the left it goes to the. I can't emphasize that enough  then again we make another parallel line make sure it's vertical and these three are perfectly parallel to each other so there we have the right side and we have the left side now we need to finish the top from here it goes to the right vanishing point we don't know how far we need to make this you make a little longer same thing here from here where does it go bus to the last vanishing point and where they cross is the back corner so that in itself is pretty easy but if you did not use parallel lines it's not going to work if your lines are not going to the vanishing points it's not going to work and so it's important that you understand how that works now I can play is box anywhere I want in this face in this paper I can put over 100 boxes but I see there's some changes I have to make first I have to make the Box smaller and also I can overlap also it's a point that you understand that this horizon line which is our daughter line is what divides the eggs from the ground everything that's below the Horizon you'll be able to see the top and everything above the Horizon you will no longer see the top but you're only how to see the bottom I'm going to draw a box really quick so you can see what I'm trying to say  so parallel vanishing point  vanishing point  parallel now we go to the right vanishing point  vanishing point  parallel from this corner to the right from this corner to the left so you see both boxes are similar ones above the Horizon and the other one is below play this is an important feature because the painting on where you place it you're going to see a lot of the top or a little bit vice versa so knowing where things are in relation to the Horizon is key so for this first part of this assignment I need you to do 15 boxes  ball this page this is page number one alright so do your 15 these to count towards your 15 get your 15 done come and see me and then count them and give you credit it has to be done accurately not kind of either it's right or it's not right so please make sure to finish correctly
