Youth Employment and Civic Engagement Program

The City of Huntington Park partnered with the HUB Cities Worksource Consortium and the California Latino Leadership Institute to launch the innovative 2016 Huntington Park Youth Employment & Civic Engagement Program (HP Fellows). The goal of the program is to provide Huntington Park youth, ages 16-18, with valuable technical skills that they can use in the workforce and to expose them to civic engagement activities.

The program is designed as a 7-week summer paid fellowship that is funded from the Cityls Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) monies, the California Community Foundation, and Union Bank.

Applications are now available. All completed applications must be received by 5:00 PM on Monday, April 18, 2016. Submit all applications to:
