The Special Education Department at Bell High School is composed of the CBI (Community Based Instruction Class, MRM, APE (Adapted Physical Education), SDP (Special Day Program), and RSP (Resource Program). There is currently 1 Intervention Coordinator, 1 Office Technician, and 20 teachers in the department.  Mr. Rafael Balderas, the school principal, is the department administrator.

Mission Statement: The mission of Bell High School special educators is to have an active partnership with all school personnel, students ,and the community. We will nurture individuals, who value themselves and others and provide an educational foundation that enables students to have the ability to think, communicate, create and apply their learning experiences throughout their lifetime.

Vision: The vision of Special Education at Bell High School is to enable and empower our students with special needs to develop to their maximum potential in school and in the community.
