The mission of the Bell High School Social Studies Department is to provide students with a rigorous, standards based curriculum that emphasizes a critical and multiple perspective view of history, that is evidenced through effective communication skills, critical thinking, and active participation in society.

The vision of the Bell High School Social Studies Department is to create and model an environment that nurtures a passion for and a critical understanding of the social sciences in order to foster and cultivate life-long learners who become agents of change for the betterment of our community and society.
