The EL Support Team looks forward to working with you this academic year. We have extremely important work ahead of us and we cannot do this work alone. Therefore, we look forward to collaborating with all stakeholders (teachers, parents, administrators, students and the community) to help us give our language learners the education they deserve — an education that builds on their strengths while holding them accountable to the same expectations as non-ELs. We invite you to join our English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) as we confront the challenges that impact our students’ learning.

El equipo de apoyo al Aprendiz de Inglés (EL) está entusiasmado de tener la oportunidad de trabajar con ustedes este año escolar. Tenemos una tarea muy importante por delante y no podemos hacerlo solos. Por lo tanto, nos sentimos orgullosos de poder colaborar con todas las partes interesadas (profesores, padres, administradores, estudiantes y la comunidad). Queremos darle a nuestros Estudiantes del Idioma Inglés la educación académica adecuada, la clase de educación académica que pide las destrezas de mayor dominio de cada estudiante y mantiene altas expectativas al nivel de los estudiantes competentes en el Inglés. Los invitamos a formar parte del Comité Asesor para la Educación de Alumnos que Aprenden Inglés (ELAC) para enfrentar los retos que impactan el aprendizaje de nuestros estudiantes.
